ZUO Modern serves as corporate sponsor for national IDS office grand opening

The Interior Design Society (IDS) revealed their newly remodeled national office located in the historic Radio Building in High Point, North Carolina, on October 13, 2017. Manufacture ZUO was pleased to be the corporate sponsor donating the furniture for the design. Noted as a tremendous achievement in the trajectory of IDS in conjunction with its rebrand and launch of the overhauled national website in late October 2017. Moreover, institutional memory is unknown whether the office has ever been remodeled or designed, of which it was in desperate need of. Additional generous donations from other corporate sponsors included lighting, cabinetry, countertop and accessories (see full list of sponsors below).

The entire office remodel project was completed within a tight two-month timeframe just before the High Point Market. IDS national office consists of a reception area, executive director’s office and conference area, and an expanded multi-purpose room, serving as a kitchen, copy room and storage room. During Oct 13th unveiling and ribbon-cutting ceremony, corporate sponsors and attendees celebrated the classic, timeless design which dramatically modernized and updated the entire space with chic décor, furniture and finishes. The volunteer design team consisted of IDS members Jan Cregier, Kimberly Joi McDonald, Nate Jones, Carolyn Galloway, Anna Stowe, Mikala Moller and executive director Jenny Cano. The grand opening is significant because it is an achieved milestone before the launch of IDS’s revised website scheduled to occur in late October 2017.

IDS National President Jan Cregier stated, “We are very proud of the look of our new office, and this is truly a landmark milestone in IDS History as we launch our new brand.” Executive Director Jenny Cano echoed, “It is so nice to finally have a national office that now reflects our professional interior design organization and who we are!” Design team member and National vice president Kimberly Joi McDonald stated, “We sincerely thank all of our corporate sponsors for making the dream of a new IDS National Office a reality.”

ZUO’s Marketing Coordinator Serena Martin says, “We are honored to be a part of the IDS corporate office remodel along with the other sponsors. I personally attended the grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony and found the final design looks absolutely exquisite! It was a pleasure working with the entire IDS design team and ZUO Modern. Thanks to the IDS for this beautiful opportunity.”
